Camera-ready instruction and copyright

In your camera-ready paper, we strictly consider 1) revised paper based on reviews; 2) paper format (CCIS); and 3) plagiarism (below 20%). PC chairs will not include those papers for publication, who do not satisfy aforementioned criteria. As before, use RTIP2R 2021 Springer's Online Conference Service (OCS) for your final upload. Welcome to the RTIP2R 2021

The 4th International Conference on Recent Trends in Image Processing and Pattern Recognition (RTIP2R) aims to attract current and/or advanced research on image processing, pattern recognition, computer vision, and machine learning. The RTIP2R will take place at the University of Malta, Msida, Malta on December 8-10, 2021, in collaboration with PAMI Research Lab, Computer Science, University of South Dakota (USA) and Central University of Karnataka, (India). We have invited talks by world-leading scientists.

In line with past RTIP2R events (2016, 2018 and 2020), conference proceedings will be published in Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS), Springer Nature (Scopus indexed).

Best student paper awards will be provided at the conference. Selected and/or best papers will be extended for book series and journal issues (SCI, Scopus, and DBLP indexed plus impact factor).

The contributions from researchers describing their original, unpublished, research contribution which is not currently under review by another conference or journal and addressing state-of-the-art research are invited to share their work in RTIP2R 2021.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to

✓ Image analysis and recognition
✓ Pattern recognition: statistical, structural and syntactic approaches
✓ Data and features: feature engineering, hand-crafted and deep feartures
✓ Object detection and recognition: shape, color and texture analysis
✓ Machine learning algorithms
✓ Clustering and classification
✓ Model selection in machine learning
✓ Deep learning
✓ Data mining tools and applications
✓ Document image analysis and understanding
✓ Forensics
✓ Biometrics: face matching, iris recognition/verification, foot-print verification
✓ Audio/Speech analysis and understanding
✓ (Bio)medical imaging, informatics and engineering
✓ Big data (from document understanding, healthcare to risk management)
✓ Information retrieval: content-based image retrieval and indexing, and text analytics
✓ Pattern recognition and machine learning for Internet of Things (IoT)

Call for papers (in pdf).

Call for special tracks

The RTIP2R 2021 team welcomes special tracks. Please contact general chairs (with your proposal). General chairs will then assign special track chairs for a review.

Approved special tracks

Object detection in Adverse Conditions (CFP, pdf).
Organizer: Ravinder M., PhD (lead, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University For Women, Delhi, India), Ghanapriya Singh, PhD (NIT Uttarakhand, India) and Neha Baranwal, PhD (Montpellier University, France)
Contact: ravinder.cseigdtuw@gmail.com

Paper submission

Papers are expected to be within the 8-15 page range. The review process takes into account both the quality in writing and the scientific impact of the work. Authors should clearly identify the problem, their contribution(s), justification with respect to the state-of-the-art works. The program committee would like to review those, who develop, argue, and provide results. We recommend using the LaTeX template for preparing submissions.
Please follow the template for preparing a conference paper CCIS, Springer Nature and Overleaf.

Submissions should be made through the RTIP2R 2021 Springer's Online Conference Service (OCS) Paper Submission Web Page.
